These figures testify to the strategic importance of Madrid as a crossroads for trade, confirming IFEMA as one of the driving forces behind the European trade fair economy.
The beauty sector will take center stage in the United Kingdom and France. In London and Dublin, the Professional Beauty fairs, key events for professionals in the cosmetic industry, will be held. In 2022, the UK beauty market showed sustained growth of 5.8%, reaching a value of 18 billion pounds. These fairs, in addition to making a significant contribution to the economy, consolidate the UK’s position as a pioneer in innovation and progress in the European beauty sector. In Paris, Nantes, and Lyon, the fairs organized by Beaute Selection will take place, serving as reference points in the beauty industry for Central Europe. In 2022, the French beauty sector recorded a robust growth of 4.5%, with a turnover exceeding 7 billion euros.
Important events are also scheduled in Amsterdam, where Amsterdam Textile will take the spotlight for the textile sector, and in Riga, where the next edition of Baltic Beauty, a reference point for the cosmetic sector in the Baltic countries, will be held.
Finally, in Turkey, in a strategic position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Beauty Istanbul, a world-class event for the cosmetic sector, will take place.
