From 2 to 4 October 2024, Beauty Istanbul, the world’s leading beauty and cosmetics trade fair, will return to the exhibition center located in the prestigious Taksim district of Istanbul!
Beauty Istanbul is a true excellence in the trade fair scene, having quickly become one of the largest and most appreciated international fairs for the world of cosmetics, beauty products, make-up and personal care.
It is aimed at all professionals in these sectors, in particular retailers, wholesalers, distributors, importers, exporters and manufacturers. Despite only being in its fifth edition, it has already proven to be a successful event, attracting over 16,000 visitors (of which over 50% international) from 169 nations in 2023.
The last edition was also characterized by an important presence of Made in Italy, thanks to the 150 companies that animated the Italian Pavilion.
Italy is the fifth largest supplier of cosmetics to Turkey, with imports increasing by 44.5% in 2022, reaching a value of 94 million euros. The main products imported from Italy include makeup and skin care products (48%), hair care products (20%) and perfumes (18%).
The Turkish cosmetics market is currently on the rise, with annual growth of 10%, significantly higher than the European average of 5%. Only 10% of products in Turkey are domestically produced, making the country an attractive destination for international companies.
