We are pleased to announce that 137 Italian companies, as exhibitors, will enthusiastically participate in the 2023 edition of the prestigious Beauty Istanbul fair, which will take place at the Istanbul Congress Center and the Lutfi Kirdar & Istanbul Hilton from 27 to 29 September 2023. This exceptional participation was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the ICE Agency, the MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) and the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (here all the info: LINK).
The Turkish cosmetics market is currently on the rise, with an annual growth of 10%, which is significantly higher than the European average of 5%. Only 10% of products in Turkey are domestically produced, making the country an attractive destination for international companies. Italy is the fifth largest supplier of cosmetics to Turkey, with imports increasing by 44.5% in 2022, reaching a value of 94 million euros. Top import products from Italy include makeup and skincare products (48%), hair care products (20%) and perfumes (18%).
Beauty Istanbul is an international fair dedicated to the world of cosmetics, beauty products, make-up and personal care, aimed at professionals in the sector, including retailers, wholesalers, distributors, importers, exporters and manufacturers. Although it is only in its fourth edition, it has already proven to be a successful event, becoming a point of reference in the calendar of international events in the beauty sector.
